Mount Carmel improves to 6-0 with a win at Glenelg Country


The Our Lady of Mount Carmel boys basketball team remained undefeated Friday night, dominating the middle two quarters on the road in Ellicott City, to claim a 71-40 MIAA A Conference win over Glenelg Country School.

The Cougars (6-0, 5-0 MIAA A) led by one point heading into the second quarter, when they blitzed the host Dragons during a 25-4 run to take a 40-18 lead to the break. OLMC also dominated the third quarter, 23-11, to end any doubt.

Toby Nnadozie, who scored a game-high 24 points collected 18 of his points in the middle quarters before getting some time off in the fourth. Deon Perry added 16 points for the Cougars and Kevin Kalu scored nine.

Franklin Ayissi Etoh scored 13 points to lead Glenelg Country (1-3).
