Rodney Hill (pictured left) scored seven of his game-high 22 points in the fourth quarter and added 18 rebounds and nine blocked shots, leading Park School past St. Peter & Paul, 69-60, in a MIAA C Conference contest in Easton Tuesday evening. Brandon Keiser added 16 and five assists and Seth Gelblum finished with 11.
Gelblum hit a three-pointer, pulling the Bruins (10-9 overall, 7-4 MIAA C) even heading into the final quarter after trailing by as many as 10 in the third. Park outscored St. Peter & Paul, 23-14, over the final eight minutes, completing a season sweep. Park won the first meeting, 64-48, Jan. 14, marking Bruins’ coach Josh Wolf’s 200th victory at the Brooklandville school.
Park got an early lead behind Hill’s 10 first quarter points, but St. Peter & Paul (6-11, 2-8 MIAA C) made a run of their own to take a lead 15-14 after one quarter. Gil D’Albora had nine second-quarter points as the Sabres took a 33-30 halftime lead.
D’Albora led St. Peter & Paul with 21 points and Kemp Broujus added 16. Park closes MIAA C regular season play at home Friday evening against Baltimore Lutheran.
