Connor Pickle drives in seven runs as Fallston comes from behind to win playoff opener

Down 9-1 in the 4th inning, Fallston rallied to take down North East 10-9 in a 2A East Sectional baseball quarterfinal, Thursday at Fallston.
Connor Pickle started the comeback with a no doubt 3-run home run blast to right in the fourth. Jake Bogdan doubled in Kyle Moody in the fifth to make it 9-6 and again it was Pickle with a two out 3-run double to left-center to tie things up at 9.
Bogdan won it for Fallston in the seventh with a double to left-center that scored Jesse Schuster who led-off the inning with a walk. Pickle finished the day 3-for-4 with a home run and seven RBI’s. Bogdan went 2-for-4 with 2 doubles, 2 runs and 2 RBI’s.
Drew Kalista was lights out in relief tossing three shutout innings, scattering four hits and walking none while striking out four Indians. Fallston will take on Rising Sun on the road Saturday in the 2A East Sectional semifinal.
