Matt Boone scored 16 points as Hereford High knocked off host North Carroll, 41-34, in the opening round of the Claws Division bracket at the North Carroll Holiday Tournament Monday evening. The Bulls will play Manchester Valley for the bracket title Tuesday evening at 9 p.m.
Charlie Clark had 18 points for North Carroll (3-3), and Cody Mewhirter added 12. North Carroll plays Carroll County rival Francis Scott Key in the consolation game, Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.
