Sabrina Curtiss pitched a two-hitter and Kinsey Johnson had a three-run double as No. 8 River Hill High defeated Reservoir, 4-0, in a Howard County softball game in Clarksville Tuesday.

Held scoreless for the first five innings, the Hawks (5-0 overall, 4-0 Howard) broke through in the sixth against Reservoir starter Emily Wang. Curtiss, Courtney Colosimo and Meg Sterling each single to loaded the bases.

Kat Varga singled home courtesy runner Courtney Doyle with the game’s first run. Johnson doubled to centerfield, plating Colosimo, Sterling and Varga.

The Hawks play at Wilde Lake Wednesday.
