The River Hill Hawks swooped into Patterson Mill, Wednesday, leaving the Huskies’ turf with a 10-7 girls’ lacrosse victory.

River Hill led at the half, 4-3, and tacked on another six goals with the help of five-goal scorer Geohan, as Thielemen and Collins each added two more scores.

Patterson Mill more than doubled its scoring effort from the first to second half, adding four scores to its three-goal score at halftime.  Key scorers for the Huskies included a three-goal performance by Emily Keesling, and single-goal scorers Allie Poust, Sam Boyce, Brittany Cudmore and Amy Bednarek.

Heather Dove made eight saves in the goal for the Huskies.

River Hill will next see Oakland Mill, Friday, while Patterson Mill hosts Maryvale Prep.
