The North Harford Hawks got the better of the Patterson Mill Huskies, Tuesday, when evenly pacing their offense to a 10-5 boys’ lacrosse win.
Brooks Bullings led the 10-point offense with a three-score hat trick, alongside two-goal performers Jake Donohue and Andrew Siegel, and solo goals from Nolan Hood, Matt Russo and Randy Foster.
The hawks split their scoring evenly between the two halves, scoring five in the first and five added goals in the second, while holding the Huskies to just one goal in the second half.
Wedekind let the Huskies in scoring with a two-goal night, along with McIntyre, while Alston finished the Patterson Mill scoring with a goal.
Ryan Foltz and Luke Kahler helped the Hawks hold down the Huskies at a 5-4 halftime lead, as each finished the day by winning five ground balls, while Ben Miller made eight saves between the pipes.
Russo added 10 face-off wins out of his 12 attempts, while Siegel went a perfect seven-for-seven.
The Hawks were coming off a big win on Saturday, beating Virginia’s Yorktown High School in a 9-4 boys’ lacrosse contest.
Donohue was again among the leading scorers for North Harford, sharing equally in four goals with Russo, while Jamie Price, Foster, Austin Ensor, Billings and Ryan Latgis added single scores.
Miller made seven saves in Saturday’s games, while Siegel again was perfect on the face-offs, going nine-for-nine.
