Harford Tech showed its scoring power, Thursday, when taking it to the Aberdeen Eagles with a 10-goal first half and seven-goal second for the 17-4 boys’ lacrosse win.

Led by Matt Lubwaski, the Cobras jumped to a 5-0 lead after the first quarter of play, adding another five goals in the second quarter to Aberdeen’s lone goal for a 10-1 halftime lead.

The combination of Zack Valenti and Tyler Fullem helped the Cobras notch four and three-goal quarters in the respective third and four quarters, while five other teammates partook in the 17-4 victory.

Lubwaski finished the game with an incredible eight goals, followed by Valenti and Fullem’s two-goal performances.  Other Harford Tech scorers included JJ Neal, Jack Boniface, Dan Ashburn, Zac Taylor and Brett Haas, each scoring once in the game.

Valenti also made five assists, Thursday, leading fellow assisters Neal (2), Lubawski, Ashburn and Garrett Selander, as Sean Klein held down the defensive side of the game with eight saves between the pipes.

Aberdeen matched the Cobras in scoring during the fourth quarter, much to the help of Dylan Maury and his two-goal night, next to Ram scorers William Frazer and Rick Kalama.

Harford Tech will take its scoring power into its next game against Havre de Grace on Monday.
