Ryan Beatty scored the game-winning goal off an assist from Garrett Selander to lift the Harford Tech High School boys soccer team in a 3-2 comeback victory over Rising Sun in a UCBAC boys soccer match on Monday.

Tech improved to 9-2-2 and with one regular-season game left, are hoping to secure a No. 1 seed in the upcoming 1A North Region tournament.

After reciving a pass from Zac Lazarus, Austin Lentz slipped one past the goalkeeper to get Tech on the scoreboard in the 27th minute. Rising Sun held a 2-1 lead at halftime.

In the 65th minute, Jamie Rappazzo found the net for Tech from 30 yards out and then Beatty scored the game-winner.

Jacob Spencer scored in the 10th minute and Hunter Beckman netted his tally in the 23rd to lift Rising Sun to an early 2-0 advantage.

Tech goalie Dan Ashburn recorded eight saves while Rising Sun goalie Josh McKinney recorded 10.
