It was a defensive struggle on the pitch Thursday when Harford Tech and Western Tech matched up in boys soccer, but Harford Tech found the day’s only goal to pull out a 1-0 victory and improve to 4-1-1 on the season.
Garrett Selander netted the game winner in the 55th minute with Zac Lazarus providing the assist.
Cody Caydill registered the shutout in the Cobra goal. He needed to save just two shots, as his defense kept the pressure off of him.
