Garrett Selander scored four goals, and Austin Lentz had a goal and an assist as Harford Tech blanked Joppatowne, 7-0, in an UCBAC Susquehanna Division contest Thursday.
Selander started his night in just the second minute with his first goal off an assist from Tyler Granese. Austin Lentz scored in the 13th minute from an assist by Jamie Rappazzo for a 2-0 Harford Tech (7-2-2 overall, 3-1 Susquehanna) lead.
Selander again scored in the 17th minute (assist by Lentz) and again in the 38th minute (assist by Nick Sullivan) to take a 4-0 halftime lead. In the 41st minute, Selander scored his final goal with an assist from Granese.
Selander assisted Russell Fiol’s goal in the 45th minute. Granese provided his third assist on Thanh Tran’s goal in the 69th minute to close the scoring.
Dan Ashburn (two saves) and Cody Caudill (one) combined for Tech’s sixth shutout of the year. Joppatowne’s Eric Sanders recovered eight saves.
