The Indian Creek boys soccer team, coming off a successful preseason, could not find an offensive spark in the regular season opener, on Thursday, as the Indians suffered a 2-0 setback to Greater Grace, on a blistering hot afternoon in Annapolis.

Greater Grace outshot the hosts, 19-10, making life difficult for ICS keeper Danny Pelavin, who finished with seven saves.

Late in the second half, Jarrell Harrison and sophomore Ryan Vreeland threatened several times for Indian Creek, but it was a case of too little too late.

The Eagles open conference play at home on Sept. 14th against Beth Tfiloh.
