Not wanting to fall too far off the pace in the MIAA A Conference, defending league champion Mount St. Joseph needed a win on Tuesday, as it traveled to Archbishop Curley with a 1-2-1 conference mark.
The Gaels (5-2-1) succeeded in squaring their league mark as they prevailed, 1-0, in a typical tough match with the Friars (3-5-1, 2-3).
St. Joe’s Adam Gracia netted the day’s only goal, while Nick Buric provided the assist.
