The Glenelg Gladiators came out of their Tuesday tri-meet with two in-county wins, last night, boasting a 50-15 win over Marriotts Ridge and a 53-16 victory over Oakland Mills.
Recording eight falls in the two matches, heavyweight Hoyt was the only Gladiator to score two falls in his day of wrestling, with his fastest coming in just one munite, 18 seconds.
But there were numerous two-win wrestlers for the Gladiators, seeing big wins from 152-pound Pagnotta, Walls (171), Lucas (189), Dymond (140) and Caffrey (130).
Marriotts Ridge scored on Glenelg with the help of a Barbara fall at 103, a Morse decision at 112 and Hochuli fall at 125, while Oakland Mills used a Milani fall at 135, major from Farace at 119, and decisions from Doquang and Yarn at 160 and 189, respectively.
Glenelg’s next bit of competition comes Dec. 16 against La Plata, while Oakland Mills joins Glenelg and Marriotts Ridge prepares for South Carroll on Dec. 18.
