Brathwaite has a double-double; Batchelor hits game-winning three for the Dragons


Noah Batchelor was the hero for Glenelg County on Saturday as his game-winning three-point jumper at the buzzer, lifted the Dragons to a 50-49 win over Seton Hall Prep (NJ) in the showcase bracket of Governor’s Challenge at the Wicomico County Civic Center in Salisbury.

Batchelor had two three-pointers in the contest and finished with 12 points, while Jordan Brathwaite netted a game-high 17 points and grabbed 13 rebounds.

Glenelg Country trailed 27-21 at the half, but evened the game after three quarters.
