Freshman Alexa Moos went 5 for 6 with 5 RBI and pitched a one-hitter as No. 4 Glen Burnie High routed Annapolis, 29-0, in an Anne Arundel County softball game Wednesday afternoon. The Gophers (4-1 overall, 4-1 Anne Arundel) wrapped out 26 hits over five innings as they bounced back from Monday’s loss to No. 6 Broadneck.
Senior Jessica Woodson went 5 for 5 with 5 RBI, and sophomore Samatha McCloskey had four hits and 2 RBI. Shelby Smith and Kaitlyn Hackley each drove in three runs.
The Gophers head to Pasadena Friday for a matchup with No. 1 Chesapeake-Anne Arundel.
