Gilman bounced back from its season opening loss to John Carroll with a big time win over Baltimore Lutheran, Saturday, 66-6.
The Greyhounds recorded six falls in the night, seeing pins from Jack King (112), Zane Macfarlane (130), Ben Hearn (152), Branson Smith (160), Andrew Riina (171) and Connor Webb (285), while Timur Gulur (103), Owen Foster (140), Cal Riorda (145) and Devon Prochia (215) all received forfeits.
Lutheran came out of the night with one win, having 189-pound Patrick Curtis earn a fall for the team’s six-points.
In the Quaker Duals, Gilman went 2-1, beating Lutheran and Friends, but dropping to Boys’ Latin, 45-24.
Gilman will lace up the wrestling shoes again Friday in a tri-meet with Poly and Parkville, while Lutheran will take to the mat Friday with a Mount Carmel and C. Milton Wright tri-meet.
