No. 3 Gilman soccer has quietly rolled off seven straight wins this season with the latest win coming on Tuesday at home with a 3-0 shutout of No. 19 Archbishop Curley, allowing the Greyhounds to move to 3-0 in the MIAA A Conference standings.
Gilman jump in front 2-0 in the first half and the defnese, led by goalkeeper Andrew Harris, went on to post its sixth shutout of the year.
Riley DeSmit and Jarred Sullivan score in the opening half and John Simms added the final goal in the second half.
Gilman has now outscored its opponents 17-1 this fall. It will visit defending champion Mount St. Joseph on Thursday in another big early season challenge.
Curley slipped to 2-4-1 overall and 1-2-0 in the league.
