Led by Will Meadows and Michael Kane, Gilman School won the boys’ championship at the Mountain Express indoor track meet at Hagerstown Community College Monday. Meadows placed first in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 4 minutes, 35.70 seconds while Kane (11-feet) bested John Carroll’s Austin Markley (8-6) in the pole vault.

The Greyhounds won the 1,600 relay (3:39.17). Digital Harbor’s Darian Wilson won the boys’ high jump (5-8).

Local girls’ winners included Digital Harbor’s Regina Summerville (55 hurdles; 9.1), Amerlia Tearman from Mercy (800; 2:32.55) and Maryvale Prep’s Steph Taylor (high jump; 5-feet) and Ashleigh Stallings (31-9.5).
