Gilman and Archbishop Curley, which both call Herring Park home for cross country, met to open their 2010 MIAA A Conference dual meet season, on Tuesday, and the Greyhounds topped the Friars, 24-32, behind an individual victory by Will Meadows.

Meadows completed the 3.08 miles, on a hot and humid afternoon, in 17:01.  Curley’s Alex Waldt placed second in 17:14, in the closely contest battle.

Curley’s chances were hurt by the loss of its top runner Dave Ozarowski, who was injured during the race and did not finish.  Here are the complete results:
