The stands at Mount St. Joseph were a sea of red and black during Saturday’s MIAA B Conference football championship, and not all of it belonged to the participants, Archbishop Spalding and Archbishop Curley.
If you looked closely, you could see a large group of fans wearing Cardinal Gibbons gear in support of the longtime MIAA school which was closed last May. When Gibbons closed many of its students matriculated to other MIAA schools, including Curley quarterback Luke Stidham who publicly dedicated his season to his former Crusader teammates.
Some of the former Crusaders took a moment to appear on VSN and voice their support for Stidham and all of their former schoolmates and alums. To see those videos, click on the Related Videos link above.
