Knights ride to an easy victory at Oakland Mills

The North County field hockey team scored early and often, Tuesday, as the Knights blitzed host Oakland Mills, 10-0, in a non-league match.

Six different players scored goals for North County, led by a hat-trick from Alyson Geckle. The Knights led 4-0 at the half and dominated even further in the second half.

Natalie Lewis and Annabelle Colgan each added a pair goals, while Jenna Schenck, Britney Castle and Oliva Castle each scored one. Lewis and Britney Castle both had an assist, as did Maddie Bonanno.

The Knights owned the stat sheet with a 16-1 advantage in corners and a 22-2 edge in shots. Karissa Jenkins only needed two saves to get the shutout in goal.
