It was a winner take all match-up on the turf pitch at St. Mary’s for the the third and final soccer playoff spot out of the Red Division in the MIAA B Conference and visiting Glenelg Country blanked the host Saints, 2-0, to surge into the post-season.

The Dragons (4-8, 3-8), who upset St. Paul’s in their last game, closed the season on a two-game win streak and finish two points better than St. Mary’s (4-12-1, 2-8-1).

After a scoreless first half, Andy Jeun put Glenelg Country on the board, in the 50th minute, with an assist from Sam McAullife’s corner kick.  Five minutes later McAullife scored one of his own, running down a lead pass from Ben Jordan and scoring on a breakaway.
