The Bohemia Manor Eagles topped the Bel Air Bobcats in softball, Friday, nearly shutting out their foes in a 6-1 win.

Scoring four runs in the first inning, the Eagles passed the one-run lead established by the Bobcats and added runs in the second and third innings before claiming the five-run win.

Bohemia Manor pitchers Fasano and Carey worked together to allow just one hit and one run through the seven innings of work, while bel air putched Rosenberger, Rothbard and Morrissey.

The Eagles will next take on the Edgewood Rams, Wednesday, while the Bobcats prepare for Aberdeen on Monday.
