Lindsay Lawson, the Baltimore Sun’s Volleyball Player of the Year in 2000, while playing for Dulaney High School, will enter her second season as a volleyball assistant at Johns Hopkins University this fall, having been retained on he staff of new head coach Matt Troy.

Lawson began her college career at Elon University (NC) where she was an All-Rookie Team pick in the Big South Conference.  Eventually she transferred to Salisbury University where she had three outstanding seasons.

She was an All-Confernce performer at right outside hitter all three years and received the Salisbury Univesity Coaches Award as junior.  As a senior she was named team MVP and was an Honorable Mention All-American.
