Huskies stretch winning streak to three games with a 6-3 victory over North East


No. 18 Patterson Mill turned a 1-0 lead into a 6-0 advantage, Monday at home, with a five-run fourth inning and the Huskies hung on for a 6-3 UCBAC baseball victory over Northeast.

Michael Segreti, Peyton Celuch and Ethan Shultz all delivered RBI singles in the fourth. Shultz went 2-for-3 on the day with a double and Segretti finished with a pair of RBI’s as the Huskies (4-1) made the most of their six hits.

Celuch was also the winning pitcher, making the start and working 6.1 innings, allowing all three runs, while striking out three and walking one. Braden Soos got the final two outs to earn the save.

Vaughn England and Legend Price each went 2-for-3 for Northeast, with England tripling home a run and Price scoring once. Marcus Ross also had a double with a run scored and a RBI for the Indians.
