Severn improved its IAAM high goal total to 54, on Monday, as the Admirals scored five times in the first half, on their way to a 7-3 soccer victory over St. Mary’s.
Severn, which plays in the IAAM B Conference, dominated the A Confernce Saints behind the play of Abbey Ritter who scored three goals and added an assist. Della Rapasky had two goals for Severn (8-5-0), while Katie Carroll and Morgan Kontor scored once each. The Admirals also received two assists from Rachel Nock and one each from Kelly Reese and Beth Wllertz.
Christian Edwards led St. Mary’s (1-3-1) with two goals and Colleen McGeen added the third for the Saints. Under constant attack, St. Mary’s goalkeeper Taylor Rode made 17 saves, while Severn’s Allie Schuh finished with five.
Severn outshot St. Mary’s 22-7 and had a 9-1 advantage in corners.
