In a battle of two of the top girls soccer teams in the Baltimore Metro area, it was No. 9 Fallston that prevailed with a 4-0 victory over No. 13 Notre Dame prep on Friday night in a non-conference game.
Marissa Walker continued to play well for the Cougars (2-0), scoring two goals while Kaylie Yapps and Jayme Harmon each netted a goal.
Maggie Clough added two assists and Kattie LaHatte and Sydney Blomquist had an assists respectively. Goalie Jenna Weyant made six stops.
The Blazers suffered their first loss of the season and dropped to overall 3-1 overall. Goalie Tori Gabor had six saves for NDP.
Fallston will travel to Howard County to face Mount Hebron on Monday while the Blazers have a IAAM A Conference league game with No. 2 McDonogh on Wednesday.
