Quarterback Dixon shines in rout of Patterson Mill


The Fallston football team continues to emerge as an offensive juggernaut, as the Cougars exceeded 40 points for the third time in four games and remained undefeated with a 42-7 thrashing of visiting Patterson Mill, Friday night in Fallston.

Junior quarterback Aiden Dixon shredded the Huskies on the ground and in the air. He rushed 8 times for 98 yards and two touchdowns and completed 12-of-15 passes for 236 yards and two more scores. Dixon has now passed for 1,010 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2021, while rushing for 410 yards and five scores.

Senior wide receiver Dylan Wheeler is Dixon’s favorite target in the passing game. Wheeler had 7 catches for 236 yards against Patterson Mill, including TD receptions of 54- and 64-yards. So far this season Wheeler has 20 catches for 553 yards, and average of 27.6 yards per catch, with 7 touchdowns.

The Cougars, who are now 3-0 in the UCBAC Susquehanna Division travel to Rising Sun next Friday. Patterson Mill (1-3, 1-2) will return home to have another undefeated team, Havre de Grace, also next Friday.
