Outlook: This is the game of the year in the Upper Chesapeake Bay Athletic Conference. No. 6 North Harford was dominant in the first half of the season, sparked with a revenge-win over Hereford to start the season.
Last Friday, North Harford raced out to a 28-7 halftime lead en route to a 42-21 decision over Bel Air. Cody Turner scored three rushing touchdown and Brandon Bayer added a 47-yard scoring run and threw a 31-yard touchdown pass to junior Brady Macguire.
No. 18 Fallston kept pace with the Hawks in the UCBAC Chesapeake with a 46-6 rout of C. Milton Wright Saturday evening. Marc Badger rushed for 110 yards and three touchdowns, and Zimmie Nwaigwe added 101 yards. Grant Kelly threw for 143 yards and two touchdowns.
Fallston’s defense, led by Pat Cruickshank (13 tackles vs. C. Milton Wright), Darrius Berry and Iley Thompson, will try to slow down North Harford’s offense. The Hawks are averaging a league-best 41.4 points per game.
Last season, North Harford won 42-12. The Hawks have won five of the last six meetings with the Cougars, dating back to the 2004 campaign.
