Emma Yale went 4 for 4 with 2 RBI and Clare Hofstedt, Emily Preston and Carly Moore each drove in two runs as No. 17 Severna Park High posted an 11-1 six inning decision over Meade in an Anne Arundel County softball match Thursday afternoon. Grayson Metzger had three singles in four at-bats for the Falcons (5-2 overall, 4-2 Anne Arundel).
Hofstedt and Preston each finished with two hits including a double. Rachel Norsworthy knocked in Meade’s lone run in the fifth inning.
Severna Park hosts Annapolis Monday in league action while Meade travels to Old Mill.
