Johns Hopkins bound attackman Brady Faby had a big afternoon on Tuesday, scoring six points to lead host McDonogh to a 14-5 rout of visiting Severn in MIAA A Conference lacrosse.
Faby scored a hat trick and had three assists to account for his points, while teammate Connor Morgan scored two goals and added three assists. Keegan Michel also came up big for head coach Andy Hilgartner, scoring two goals and adding two helpers, while Trey McGee produced a pair of goals.
Also scoring for the Eagles (4-1, 1-0) were Austin Frederick, Evan Glaser, Matt Shinsky, Bryson Greene and Will Hauver. Frederick, Glaser and Kyle DeVinney also had assists.
McDonogh blew the contest open early, building a 7-1 first half lead.
Severn’s Cole Bailey shined in defeat, scoring a game-high four goals. Nate Babcock also scored for the Admirals, while Seb Auth had an assist.
