Reggie Ellis had a huge offensive game for No. 6 Franklin, Friday night, gaining 264 yards from scrimmage and scoring five touchdowns as the Indians routed Kenwood, 38-0.
Ellis ran six times for 105 yards and a touchdown and caught four balls for 159 yards four touchdowns.
In the first half, Elis hauled in TD passes of 34, 33 and 29 yards from quarterback Jackson Thornton and, in the fourth quarter, he had a 67 yard touchdown reception tossed by sophomore Jaquez Adams. In the third period, Ellis added a 64 yard rushing touchdown.
Junior Bryan Bray was the only other Franklin player on the scoring sheet as he was perfect on five extra-point kick attempts and booted a 27 yard field goal in the third quarter.
