Johnson leads the way with four goals and an assist

Luck was not a factor in the season opening win posted by the Edgewood girls lacrosse team, Monday, but the Rams did roll out a luck goal total, as they went on the road and defeated Aberdeen, 13-0, in UCBAC action.

Shelby Johnson led the way for Edgewood, scoring four times and offering one assist. Emma Grantland and Ryan Parncutt added two goals each and Parncutt also produced an assist. In addition, Alexa Warren and Caris Cianelli each had one goal and one assist.

In goal, Danielle Larbi and Katie Figniski combined for the saves in completing the shutout for the Rams. Taylor Miller made six saves for Aberdeen.
