Wrestling their second dual meet in as many days, the Eastern Tech Mavericks picked up another Baltimore County wrestling win, Thursday, dropping near neighbor Parkville, 48-27.

Opening the night with eight consecutive wins, the Mavericks jumped to a 48-0 lead with falls from Sam Caravello (103), Jordan Phillips (112), Kevin Isennock (119) and Dustin Shackleford (140), and forfeits to teammates Ted Newton, Stephen Beam and Ilya Usik at 125, 135 and 145, respectively.

But the Knights going scoreless in the first eight matches did not mean the night was over, and the team rallied back to win five of the next six matches, seeing falls from Pratt (152), Elliot (171), Walters (215) and Strothers (285), with Myrick earning a 3-0 decision at 189.

Eastern Tech has a tough opponent next in Perry Hall, Jan. 27, and Parkville has itself a tough opponent in No. 15 North County, Jan. 21.
