The duo of Kayel Locke (left) and B.J. Andrews were busy again as McDonogh School boys’ basketball squad posted a 59-41 decision over St. Maria Goretti in a non-league contest Wednesday evening. Locke, a 6-foot-5 junior forward, had a double-double with 26 points and 10 rebounds for the Eagles (12-6 overall), who led, 29-23, at halftime.
Andrews, a sophomore, added 15 points and four assists for the Owings Mills school. Juwaun Wilson had 17 points for Goretti (7-11).
McDonogh hosts Calvert Hall College in a MIAA A Conference match Friday evening. Goretti heads to Mount St. Joseph for a Baltimore Catholic League match Friday.
