The Bohemia Manor Eagles Proved the UCBAC wrestling community proud when they topped Tower Hill on Tuesday with a 53-27 win.
In the pinning fest that saw just two matches that did not result in six team-points, only Tower Hill’s Brett Isken went the distance in his decision at 160, as Bo Manor’s Ramon Chavez ended his night early with a 20-5 technical fall at 140.
But the rest of the night was fairly quick, as Bo Manor recorded six falls and received two forfeits for 48 team points, adding to Chavez’s five for the 53-point end.
Working falls for the Eagles were AJ Jourdan (119), Roberto Torres (135), Tyler DeWitt (145), Alex Sharp (152), Fancisco Torres (189) and Brandon Stracherski (285), while teammates Marty Rodgers, Tyear Castle received forfeits at 135 and 103, respectively.
Tower Hill’s pinners on the night included John Edinger (130), Logan McCabe (171) and Stone Liberman (215), with Paul Specht getting a forfeit at 112 and Isken working his decision at 160.
