Jaylon Johnson drains five three-pointers in an 18-point performance


Leading 30-21 after a strong first half, the Dundalk boys basketball team added another gear in the third quarter of Tuesday’s Baltimore County battle with Randallstown.

The Owls (3-1), playing on their home court, allowed a three-pointer to the Rams to open the third quarter and then scored the final 25 points of the period to open a commanding 31 point lead on their way to a 69-39 victory.

Senior point guard Jaylon Johnson led the way with 18 points, nine rebounds, three assists and three steals. He his five three pointers in the win. Fellow senior guard Michael Johnson added 14 points, as well as four rebounds, three assists and three steals.

In addition, Rayonte Brown and Tremayne Martin combined for 11 points and 19 rebounds, while Brown blocked four shots and Martin came up with three assists and three steals. Finally, sophomore Tyree Green netted 12 points.

Randallstown fell to 0-2 with the loss.
