Dundalk High pushed a run across in the bottom of the seventh inning to gain a 2-1 season opening decision over Sparrows Point Tuesday afternoon.
Chuck Rappazzo had a RBI double and Nick Petro drove in a run. Casey Rappazzo and Zyle Babcock each scored for the Owls (1-0).
Jose Welsh gained the victory on the mound with a solid performance, outdueling Ryan Krimm. John Funkhouser had an RBI for Sparrows Point.
