After gaining the Nos. 1 and 2 spot, for what’s believed for the first time last week, the Baltimore region got two more teams in the Maryland State Media Football Top 25 poll Tuesday.

Dunbar High and Old Mill entered at 23rd and No. 25, respectively, giving the Baltimore area nearly half (12) of this week’s Top 25. St. Frances Academy and Archbishop Spalding are again Nos. 1 and 2, respectively.

Calvert Hall College (7th), Mount St. Joseph (No. 8) and 10th-ranked McDonogh School maintain their spot from last week along with No. 12 Franklin. Broadneck and Milford Mill Academy switched positions at 18 and 19.

The area dominates the end of the Top 25 with St. Mary’s (No. 22), Dunbar, Loyola Blakefield (24th) and Old Mill. Concordia Prep (four points), Long Reach (two) and Gilman School (one) each received votes.
