Gavin Scanlan scored a game-high 15 points and Kyle Williams added 15 to lead Dulaney over host Hereford 46-43 on Tuesday night.

The Lions (6-12, 3-6 Baltimore Co. 3A/4A) had dropped six of their last seven games.

Nick Bittner led the way for the Bulls (4-13, 1-6) with 10 points, Joey Jones had nine and Devon Young added eight.  Zach Bosley contributed six points.

Dulaney led by six at the half, only to see Hereford tie the game at 33-33 entering the fourth quarter.

Will Darley hit a long three-pointer to give the Lions the lead back and Williams added a fast break lay-up.

The Bulls battled back and took the lead 43-42 with a minute to play before Scanlan scored to put the Lions ahead for good at 44-43.

Hereford missed a shot and had to foul.  Darley hit both free-throws with 10 seconds to go to put Dulaney up by three.  The Bulls had an open look from behind the arc but Jones’ attempt at the buzzer to force overtime glanced off the rim.
