Douglass won for the sixth time in seven games this fall, blanking Maritime Academy, 41-0, on Friday, to improve to 6-0 in Baltimore City’s Division II and 7-1 overall.

With the big offensive showing, Douglass became the first Baltimore City team to top the 300 point mark this fall and they have now outscored their opponents by a combined margin of 315-90.

It was another big afternonn for quarterback Carlos Croslin who passed for three touchdowns and returned a punt 41 yards for another score.  In the first quarter, Croslin connected with Dewey Ruth, from 23 yards, to start the scoring.  The pair would combine for 78 yards passing and two scores in the contest.

Matt Goode, who returned a kickoff for a touchdown two weeks ago against Southside, returned a punt 83 yards for a score this week.

Wayne Rouzer led the Douglass with seven tackles, including two for loss, two sacks and an interception which he returned 37 yards for a score.  Davon Doresy had six tackles, an interception and a forced fumble, while James Brandon had seven tackles and a fumble recovery.
