Friends School hosted Annapolis Area Christian, Wednesday evening, as both schools kicked off their IAAM C Conference basketball schedules, with the host Quakers edging the Eagles, 33-32.

Friends (2-0 overall) was led by Bealela Donnelly, who had a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds.  She also added four steals.  Nurisha Rodriguez also had a strong performance for the Quakers with nine points and seven rebounds, while Emma Sissman scored five points, pulled down six rebounds and had four assists.

In addition, Molly Green scored two points and had 10 rebounds for Friends.

AACS, playing its season-opener, was led by 14 points from Sam Holt.
