Bealela Donnelly scored a game-high 12 points and crashed the boards for 14 rebounds to lead Friends School to a 30-20 season opening win over Byn Mawr, in a non-conference girls basketball contest, Monday evening.
Donnelly also added five steals to her big effort, while teammate Emma Sissman had nine points, four assists and four steals. Nurisha Rodriguez also helped out inside with eight rebounds.
Dyllan Petterson led Bryn Mawr with seven points.
