It was a difficult season opener for the Mount St. Mary’s women’s lacrosse team, on Friday, as it dropped a 14-4 decision to the Naval Academy, but the Mount did get quality production from a pair of local players.
Nicole Price, a graduate of North Harford, and Chapelgate Christian alum Esther Rufolo each netted a pair of scores for the MSM, with Price recording the team’s opening tally, after Navy had rolled out to an 8-0 lead.
