Calvert Hall has won two consecutive MIAA A Conference ice hockey championships and already the Cardinals are off to a 3-0 start, outscoring their opponents thus far by a combined margin of 20-1.
The dynamic of our team this year is quite different than we have had the past several. We are very young to say the least,” said Shramek in a preseason discussion with VSN’s Joe DiBlasi. “Defensively is probably where our corp of veterans is. We have the most depth defensively, but up front we’re definitely very young, we’re young in the goal too, so, as always, we have our work cut out for us.”
Shramek went on to discuss the outlook for the league, as well as some of his returning veterans and where some of his former players are playing in college.
