Dundalk romps over New Town, 19-2

The big bats in the Dundalk softball woke up on Wednesday, as the Owls hit two home runs and pounded out 11 hits en route to their 19-2 Baltimore County victory over New Town.

The win pushed Dundalk to (6-1 overall) is now league play.

In the first inning Abby Francazi ripped a 1-1 pitch to right center for her second home run of the season. She would finish with two RBI’s, four runs scored and two walks. Hunter Adams laced a 3-0 pitch to left in the 4th for her first home run.

Caylie Hafner made short work of the game, with her third 5-inning complete game performance. She recorded strike outs and only allowed two hits for her fourth win of the season. The Owls travel to Milford Mill Friday.
