Despite a cold shooting fourth quarter, Archbishop Curley built just enough of an advantage to hold off Severn, 49-47, Friday night in Severna Park.
The Friars fell behind 13-7 at the end of one quarter, but Curley reversed themselves with a 21-13 run in the second quarter and stretched its lead to 44-39 at the end of three quarters.
Daxter Miles led Curley with 20 points and Tyler Barton added nine. If was the third straight league win for the Friars, who are now 3-5 overall and 3-2 in the conference.
Severn (2-6, 2-5) was led by 16 points from Cole bailey and 13 from Jake Brudish.
