Outlook: For the first time in league history, a playoff will decide which team advances to the MIAA B Conference championship next Saturday at Mount St. Joseph.

Boys’ Latin, Archbishop Curley and Archbishop Spalding ended up 1-1 in head-to-head competition (Boys’ Latin defeated Curley 21-7; Curley knocked off Spalding, 17-7; Spalding defeated Boys’ Latin, 39-29), forcing a three-team coin flip.

In week two, Boys’ Latin defeated the Friars, 21-7, on Lake Avenue, putting the game away with a 99-yard drive capped by a 43-yard touchdown pass from Brett Radcliffe to Alec Whitman.
