St. Paul’s is the defending MIAA B Conference basketball champion and head coach Seth Goldberg is excited about the make-up of this year’s team, which will include five sophomores, six juniors and two seniors.
Not one to single out individual players in his team-oriented program, Goldberg did admit that Nigel Sydnor will be counted on for leadership and scoring ability.
“We’ve got a great group. I am really excited about them. We return seven guys from last year’s team and had some nice additions,” said Goldberg during a preseason interview with VSN’s Joe DiBlasi. “We’ve got some young guys which I am real excited about.”
The B Conference remains one of the areas most competitive leagues and continues to churn out top-shelf college talent and it figures to be a challenging ride once again this winter.
